I agree with you 100 percent. Online backup seems like a safe, reliable source to keep all my precious documents, photos, essays, etc. It's good to know I would always have someone, or something, on my side!

Would you be interested in reviewing iConfidential backup? It's very different than Carbonite. Get a 14 day free trial and we'd love to get your professional feedback. Thank you!

Okay, so it's almost a year later, and my Carbonite restore has stalled. So much for the problem being fixed! And the tech support people won't respond to my second email asking for help. Color me "something other than Carbonite" as soon as possible!

Please try to uninstall and then reinstall Carbonite. You are most likely experiencing a server connection issue

I cannot tell if I am being backed up or not. I keep getting error messages when I boot up and I cannot access the files that are currently being backed up. I cannot go another day without knowing if all my material is being backed up. This is my third attempt for help. Please resolve.

I received an error notice, (PPCTL component is not correctly installed!) Runtime error.

Please contact application's support team for more information.

What's up?

To resolve it, you can deselect the drive from being backed up, wait for 4 days, then reselect it for backup again. Alternatively, you can ask Carbonite to delete the computer from their system and you can start your backup over immediately.

Difficulty with Mac update - Carbonite stalls

I have been so thrilled with Carbonite on my home PC, that I was very excited to see the Mac version for work.

Unfortunately, it has stalled on me, as was mentioned above.

Anyone know if this problem has been solved?
